Individualised care is at the centre of my work, working with you to make your experience an all around positive one, whatever that looks like to you. I honour the incredibly special time around pregnancy and birth, and how it looks different for every family. ​I want my clients to feel at ease, supported & informed from day 1.
No matter when you get in touch with me, it's important to me that we build a great relationship, so that you feel safe and held. This might look like meeting for coffee, having a meal together while we discuss your plans or me sitting on your living room floor playing with your dog.
About me
​I'm Lauren, your local Birmingham doula serving as much of the West Midlands as I can. I'm a mum to 4 small humans who keep me on my toes, and have helped solidify my nurturing role, in life. Over the passed 10 years I've developed from a timid first time parent into a knowledgable advocate for women. I'm an advocate through and through, everything I've ever done in a professional capacity has been to advocate for others- having worked in clinical negligence & human rights. So it was no surprise I was drawn to be a birth worker, wanting to support women to experience pregnancy and birth on their own terms.

As a doula I'm here to support & nurture you, educate you, fight your corner & advocate for you throughout your pregnancy and birth. 1-2-1 support is key to my work, building a meaningful connection with my clients, is everything that my role revolves around, so that I can best support your individual needs.
